For participants of V International Summer School
On July 15 you will be met at the Krasnoyarsk Airport and brought to the campus of the Siberian Federal University – student dormitory on a special bus. You will stay in double rooms, fully equipped with appliances, shower rooms and toilets.
During your first day in Krasnoyarsk we will hold an organizational meeting, discuss all your questions and concerns, register foreign participants.
You will have time to get acquainted with the campus, take a walk in the woods, feed squirrels, visit Eco-Park “Gremyachaya Griva”.
Classes start from July 16 and take place about 5 minutes walk from the dormitories.
The location of the ISS is Krasnoyarsk
It is located in the heart of the biggest country in the world and divided into two parts by one of the world longest rivers the Yenisey.
Krasnoyarsk is one of the largest Siberian cities and is a cultural, industrial and academic centre. It is a birthplace of a famous Russian artist Vasily Surikov, outstanding Russian writer Victor Astafiev, and a world-known singer Dmitry Khvorostovskiy.
Krasnoyarsk is famous for the abundant natural resources: oil, gas and coal, natural forests and pure water. Big parks and green spaces are worthwhile seeing: fun-park “Bobrovy Log” and “Tatyshev Island”, flora and fauna park “Roev Ruchei” and national rocky park “Stolby”. Such places are much favoured by citizens and guests of our city as they offer all facilities for active leisure time all year round.
Amid unique nature, the city lives its active business and cultural life. It annually hosts Krasnoyarsk economic forum which attracts thousands of visitors from regions of Russia and countries from all over the world. Cultural life offers theatres, concert halls, museums and art galleries.
For Summer school participants will be provided:
- full board
- comfortable classrooms
- coffee breaks during training sessions
On July 25 , after completing the ISS programme, a transfer to Krasnoyarsk Airport will be organized.
